The MHFB Youth Scholarship Fund supports the annual LaBonne Youth Leadership Awards, which honor graduating students who exemplify leadership, creativity, and the spirit of community. The award is named in tribute to former MHFB President Drew LaBonne, who helped found the MHFB Youth program and shepherded it throughout his tenure, ensuring young musicians had a welcoming place to grow and shine. Since its creation, the fund has awarded over $7,000 to help these young leaders step confidently into their next chapter, whether pursuing music, education, or new adventures while knowing they remain a valued part of our community.
