Guiding Our Mission

The MHFB Board

The Mile High Freedom Bands board of directors is an all-volunteer group that provides vision, oversight, and support for everything we do. They handle the big picture — from finances and governance to planning and sustainability — ensuring MHFB remains strong, inclusive, and true to its mission. Their leadership keeps our organization moving forward, empowering our musicians, serving our audiences, and fostering a vibrant, welcoming community for all. Meet the team working behind the scenes to keep the music playing.

"Being in the presence of joy cultivates life-affirming hope. I experienced this profound joy while attending my first MHFB performance, and continue to feel it in every rehearsal, every concert, every parade, and every moment shared with my chosen band family. My heartfelt desire is to create musical opportunities where you can share in the love and pride of our community, too. We choose to create joy because our hope will never be silent."
