The performance begins at 4:00 PM and runs approximately two hours, including a 20-minute intermission.
Please plan to arrive early to allow time for parking, check-in, and to enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the Chambers Grant Salon before the music begins.
The Ellie Caulkins Opera House is part of the Denver Arts Complex, located downtown at 14th and Curtis Streets. Parking in the area can be busy on performance nights, so we recommend arriving early and planning your route in advance.
The Arts Complex Garage offers convenient on-site parking, with entrances on Arapahoe Street (between 13th and 14th) and on 13th Street (between Arapahoe and Champa). Standard rates apply, and payment is accepted by Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. (American Express is not accepted in the Arts Complex garage.)
Additional nearby garages and surface lots are also available, including the Curtis Hotel and Hotel Teatro. For a smoother experience, consider reserving a space in advance through parking apps such as SpotHero.
Public transit is another excellent option. The RTD Light Rail (Lines D, F, or H) stops at the Theatre District / Convention Center Station, just a short walk from the Arts Complex. Several bus routes also serve the downtown area, and rideshare drop-off zones are available along Curtis Street.
Whether you arrive by car, train, or on foot, allow at least 30–60 minutes before showtime to park, pass through security, and settle in. Take your time, breathe in the calm of the evening, and let the city fade away before the music begins.b a treat, and soak in the spooky vibes before showtime!
Doors to the Chambers Grant Salon open approximately one hour before the performance. The entrance for this event is located between the Ellie Caulkins Opera House and the Buell Theatre, at the doors marked “Kevin Taylor’s at the Opera House.” Look for Mile High Freedom Bands signage out front to help guide you to the correct entrance and check-in area.
Once inside, head downstairs into the Salon and MHFB volunteers and venue staff will assist you with ticket scanning.
All tickets are issued digitally via email at the time of purchase. You may present your ticket on your mobile device, add it to your mobile wallet, or provide your name at check-in.
If you need to retrieve or exchange a ticket, please contact the MHFB Box Office in advance of the concert. On-site assistance will be available at the check-in table in the Salon lobby beginning one hour before the show.
If you purchased a Flex Pass, be sure to redeem it for admission tickets to this event.
For the comfort and safety of all guests, standard Denver Arts & Venues security policies are in effect throughout the Ellie Caulkins Opera House and the Chambers Grant Salon. All patrons and bags are subject to screening upon entry.
Small personal bags (no larger than 12″ × 12″ × 12″) are welcome and must fit beneath your seat. Empty or factory-sealed water bottles (plastic or aluminum) are permitted. Outside food, beverages, professional cameras, recording devices, weapons, and other restricted items are not allowed inside the venue.
We recommend traveling light to help keep the check-in process quick and easy. MHFB volunteers and venue staff will be on hand to assist and answer questions as you arrive.
