SEASON 41  |  CONNECTIONS

About the Show

Inspired by New Orleans, the Krewe of Olympus Carnival Ball celebrates connections with jazz, dance, and masquerade. This vibrant event unites music and community, honoring shared heritage and joyful camaraderie—a true testament to connection.

The night wouldn’t be complete without a little taste of the quintessential Mardi Gras treat – king cake! You can win an authentic New Orleans king cake by participating in the Regal Reveler contest!

Run Time

The show starts at 5:00pm and will run approximately 2 hours, with one 20-minute intermission.

Doors open one hour prior to the performance at 4:00pm.

GETTING TO THE SALON

You will get to the Salon from The Galleria. The entrance is right between the main entrances of The Ellie Caulkins and the Buell Theater. There will be a MHFB sign just outside the door pointing you to the right direction. The box office will be down stairs as you enter Chambers Grant.

Dress to Impress!

At a traditional Carnival or Mardi Gras Ball, attendees dress to the nines, donning their most dazzling formalwear to celebrate in true festive style. The classic Mardi Gras colors—purple for justice, green for faith, and gold for power—adorn everything from elegant gowns to sharp tuxedos. Ornate masks, shimmering beads, and regal crowns are all part of the spectacle, adding an air of mystery and grandeur. For MHFB’s Krewe of Olympus Carnival Ball XII, we’re embracing this tradition in full force, complete with a Regal Reveler Award —so bring your most fabulous look! The winner will take home an authentic New Orleans king cake, because no Mardi Gras celebration is complete without a little extra sweetness.
