Being part of MHFB Youth is more than just making music — it’s about growing, connecting, and discovering what you’re capable of. When you join, you’ll unlock opportunities, support, and experiences that help you rise as a musician and as a person.

After you register, you’ll get an immediate confirmation email. We’ll check in with you in the spring with more information, and then send final details about rehearsals and performances in early June. Until then, feel free to reach out with any questions — we can’t wait to make music with you!

Youth Jazz

JAZZ

Discover the joy of swing, groove, and improvisation in our MHFB Youth Jazz program. Young musicians explore jazz styles, develop ensemble skills, and learn to express their individuality through creative collaboration and performance.

Jazz Rehearsals will be on June 22 & 23, with the performance at 7pm on June 23.

Youth Symphonic

Symphonic

In the MHFB Youth Symphonic program, students experience the power of a massed concert band. In the program, they build musicianship, teamwork, and confidence while performing a range of inspiring repertoire.

Symphonic Rehearsals will be on June 24 & 25, with the performance at 7pm on June 25.

Youth Marching 2

Marching

The MHFB Youth Marching Band blends music and motion into an unforgettable experience. Participants learn the basics of marching while creating powerful moments that embody unity and pride.

Marching Rehearsal will be on June 26, with the performance at 9am on June 28.
